FCA to Launch New In-vehicle uConnect Market Commerce Platform

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) is revolutionizing the way our cars interact with the world. The new and eagerly awaited innovation is an in-vehicle platform that brings the world to your fingertips without you ever having to leave your car. This remarkable piece of technological convenience, called the uConnect Market, is a collaboration of different brands that have united with FCA to bring their customers this experience.

    The uConnect Market Family

They have developed the platform in partnership with Xevo, who is a leader in connected car technology. The merchants that have come on board to make uConnect Market the well-rounded commerce platform that it includes:

    Yelp Reservations

So what we have is the fuel, food, parking, and restaurant reservations–pretty much all that you would need if you have to drive around for a while.

    How does uConnect Market work?

FCA installed the uConnect Market panel in FCA cars. Using the interface, the occupants can check for the nearest gas station, allow pump and pay at stations that are part of the program, and even save loads on fuel prices. The other features allow you to get the pizza delivered, make restaurant reservations, and even order food and beverages beforehand so you don’t have to wait when you arrive.

Make secure pam through the uConnect Wallet, which car owners can set up by registering a credit card. This feature allows you to pay for your fuel or food without you even having to take your hands off the wheel. Also, you can keep your eyes on the road while doing all of that. And then there’s the ParkWhiz feature that helps you find the garage nearest to you or anywhere in the country and book and pay for your space before you even get there.
